What a gorgeous treat for a weekend away from it all. A stunning horse box conversion set in a peaceful location overlooking the Dorset Gap and the beautiful Vale countryside. Your home from home nestles on a private smallholding, in a private secluded plot fully screened for privacy. This holiday is ideal for those who wants to escape it all and enjoy peace and quiet. The Blackmore Vale is a large area within Dorset that is given over to farmland, dotted with hamlets and homesteads, there are no major roads so its quiet and peaceful. This area is ideal for those that love the countryside and walking but is only half an hour from the coast. A good pub and a shop are within walking distance. You can enjoy each evening in front of an open fire (provided) and marvel at the clear skies and beautiful stars. You can also relax in the hot tub, next to your holiday bolthole. In the morning you will often see deer grazing outside your door.

Vale View is only twenty minutes from the County town of Dorchester, a great day out to explore museums, art galleries and restaurants. The Georgian town of Blandford is also only twenty minutes away. Exclusive dining is available at Plumber Manor just a few minutes drive away but advance booking is essential. This area of Dorset is home to a number of hillforts that you can explore, most notable Hambledon Hill and Hodd Hill, both managed by the National Trust. Vale View looks up at Bulbarrow Hill, an excellent spot to watch the sun go down.

Wood fired Hot tub. Fire Pit with starter supply of logs. Cutlery and crockery provided. Linen and towels provided. Min two night stay. Two dogs welcome at £15 per dog. Open June - September, no heating.

Vale View is also equipped with a paddock with post and rail fencing for grazing two horses and one lesson per day is included in your holiday if you opt to bring your own horse (must have Flu vacs). Stables can be hired at extra cost. A riding menage is on site or you can enjoy miles of hacks through the local countryside.
