Dorset Cottage Holidays is an honest, trustworthy, local Agency with a long standing reputation for excellent quality holiday cottages and an excellent service. So much so that Quality In Tourism (independent assessment appointed by Visit Britain) awarded our Property Management Service 5/5 in every holiday home we manage. In addition we are highest Google rated local agency.

Excellent communications. One note: The directions don’t include a public transport option when, in fact, it was easy to get to Honeysuckle Cottage by public transport, i.e., train to Wareham then Purbeck Breezer 40 bus to Kingston.

DCH contacted us the following day to make sure we were all okay and provided emergency numbers. DCH always send a text at the beginning of your holiday to check that everything is ok -we rarely have a problem but if you need help they answer the phone promptly and where possible the problem is sorted out within 24 hours .Best of all there is an office located in a nearby village so you can go in and speak to someone face to face if needs be- this is not possible with the larger holiday companies where the head office /call centre is often hundreds of miles away – with DCH , customer service feels personal and not just a box ticking exercise -we wish every company followed your example .

I thought DCH acted exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble for them to very quickly put it right. In the first week they asked us if everythiong was alright. We then contacted them easily about a broken drawer, and it was fixed the next day. In the second week, something else was faulty and they were going to contact the owners about it. Despite trying two seperate cards without success, I waited until the following morning before payment from the first card was accepted.
