L’atelier – Access Statement 2022

L’atelier is a two-storey house built in 2004 situated on Grove Hill, Osmington and caters for 6 guests.

Parking for two cars on the driveway of the house only.

There are no steps into the hallway.

The doorways are all of standard size.

From the hall are stairs to the upper floor and bedrooms.

The master bedroom is large (approx 20′ x 17′) plus en-suite.

The other two bedrooms are approximately 13′ x 8′.

On this floor there is the main bathroom.

The ground floor has a large kitchen (approx 20′ x 14′), the lounge again approx 20′ x 17′.

The garden is mainly to the front and side of the property with shrubs, trees and grass terraces.

The rinse aid and dishwasher salt are located in the cupboard under the kitchen sink.

Osmington has local food shops and a post office together with a dairy which supplies many dairy products and produces not only their own milk, clotted cream and ice cream but many other products available. There is also Cafe on the premises. Also in the village are two pubs (1 currently closed) with excellent pub food. Some of this information is supplied in the information book.

A bus stop is a few yards down the road which travels from Weymouth to Poole. Weymouth has a large shopping area and on the outskirts has most of the major supermarkets.
