Osmington has always been a popular destination for holiday makers since leading English landscape artist John Constable had his honeymoon here in early 19th century. To the northwest of the village is the Osmington White Horse, a chalk hill figure to commemorate the visits of King George III to Weymouth.

The Smugglers Inn is a traditional country pub with breath-taking views overlooking the Isle of Portland. Originally built in the 13th century, with its own brewery, it is now a popular destination for locals and tourists to enjoy local beer and fresh food. From here you can walk along the coast path to Ringstead Bay and beyond.
