Step inside this inviting cottage with bright open-plan living room/diner with a beautiful wooden floor, newly decorated and furnished. There is a smart TV and a woodburning stove, perfect for those cosy nights in. Continue through to the kitchen, with the original 300 year old Purbeck flagstone floor and stone walls, bespoke reclaimed wooden kitchen units and zinc surfaces. Off the kitchen you can discover a small courtyard that offers a BBQ and a cosy space for two to relax. Completing the downstairs area is a well-presented shower room with a spacious walk-in shower, basin and WC and underfloor heating. Stairs from the kitchen lead up to a double bedroom featuring built in wardrobes and stunning views of rolling hills and sea. Take another row of steep stairs to a second large double bedroom, boasting more spectacular views outside your window. The cottage is decorated uniquely with quirky pieces alongside traditional cottage charm.
Worth Matravers is a beautiful, English village in the countryside of Purbeck, and enjoys a delightful duck pond in the heart of the village as well as many original stone cottages. The area is surrounded by many walks and hikes such as Winspit, Seacombe Cliff, Dancing Ledge and St Aldhelm's Head – a wonderful way to spend time together and get to know Dorset. You may also enjoy a walk around "Wood Henge" - locally crafted and great for a photo opportunity!
After a long walk exploring nature and the Purbeck coastline, why not to stop at the famous Square and Compass pub, overlooking the hills and sea, and enjoy a refreshing drink and a tasty homemade pasty.
Corfe Castle, voted one of the top 10 romantic ruins in the UK, is a few miles away, from where you can venture out to the nearby towns of Wareham and Lulworth.
If you love days out at the beach, venture to nearby towns of Swanage and Studland to find stunning blue flag sandy beaches and sparkling waters, along with lots of restaurants, pubs and attractions year-round.

Lounge/diner: Smart TV, Netflix, wood burner, dining table and chairs - seats 4 comfortably. Shower room with WC and basin. WIFI. Linen and towels provided for weekly bookings. Travel cot provided.
