Purbeck Chamber Music Festival

is an exciting new artistic development curated by Natalie Clein and her fellow musician friends. The Festival takes place every year at the end of summer in the beautiful surroundings of Purbeck in Dorset in historic locations, churches, unusual sites and schools. Natalie invites exceptional musicians, actors and lecturers from both home and abroad to make music with her in the intimate venues which the extraordinary Isle of Purbeck offer

Dorset County Show

There is something for everyone at the Dorset County Show from over 2,000 prize winning animals, national jaw-dropping vegetable championships and magnificent steam engines to over 540 trade stands.

Bridport’s Hat Festival

The town centre will be taken over by thousands of hat wearers throughout the day, with competitions, trade stalls, food & drink, live acts and a mass hat-wearing photo-op in ‘Bucky Doo’ Square at 1pm.

Poole’s Thai Festival

Grab your families and friends and pop down to Baiter Park (Harbourside) to experience a touch of Thai culture, where you can challenge your taste buds and feast your eyes on world class food and performances. Entertainment throughout the day includes, traditional music and dancing, Ladyboy show, Thai beer garden, Thai food and produce stalls, Thai massage and children’s play area.

Swanage Folk Festival

Followers of folk music flock to the concerts, join-in sessions, and try something new at workshops. The festival features a number of concerts and music in the main marquee on Sandpit Field and other venues.

Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival

Celebration of Cheese, Food and Crafts established for over 15 years now and based on a tradition of Cheese making in the town, stretching back for over 100 years. Come and sample the wares from 70 food and Cheese stalls, over 80 craft exhibitors. Enjoy some of the 25 plus beers in the “real ale” tent, cider from local cider makers, a wine bar, live music and children’s entertainment.

Swanage & Purbeck Walking Festival 

The Dorset coastal walking is spectacular. From a stroll along the beach in beautiful Swanage to a serious hike along the Jurassic Coast.

Planet Purbeck Festival

Wellbeing by the Lakes is a brand new three-day festival taking place at the beautiful sculpture park, Sculpture by the Lakes near Dorchester in Dorset. The festival will explore what it means to be mindful and how to live well in our fast-paced modern world. A curated blend of expert talks, live performance, meditation, movement sessions, breathwork, wholesome food and healing therapies will be on offer at one of the UK’s most unique festival locations. Speakers include wellness guru Liz Earle MBE, Gelong Thubten, author of “A Monk’s Guide to Happiness “and serial entrepreneur Lara Morgan. Those attending will be able to take part in pilates workshops, guided meditation sessions and the yoga sessions taking place throughout the three days. Day tickets to the festival start at £30 and include all talks and workshops. The event runs from Thursday 19th September – Saturday 21st September 2019 10am-5pm, with late night performance and live music on Friday and Saturday evening until 10pm .
