We have had a lovely few days spent in such a lovely home from
home accommodation. Thank you for the gift of wine and milk much
appreciated. The outlook from your lounge window is so tranquil and
beautiful weather being exceptional.

The Jackson family 15/11/2019

Thanks for a great stay ! Great walk on the headland below Worth
Matravers and a pint in the Square & Compass .... Love the
bright bay windows.

Dave and Cath 15/11/2019
The house was warm and comfortable, liked the large living room with lots of windows. Could have done with a second shower, maybe over the bath? Getting the key was easy and instructions for everything in the house were straightforward. Everyone enjoyed the week, especially lucky with the weather!
Rachel 05/09/2019

Super accommodation which suited our family needs. Location
excellent for visiting attractions. Bungalow very well equipped
with 2 small grandchildren and cleaned to a high standard.

Gerry Allen. Richard and Wendy plus family. 25/07/2019
Little Westport is a lovely 4 bed bungalow in a quiet lane in Wareham close to the centre shops and restaurants and easy reach of all major holiday places in Dorset.
The house is well design with bedrooms off a separate hall so children can sleep whilst the adults can relax. The owners have thought of everything with games, books, toys buckets and spades. The kitchen is well designed with everything you would need. Lovely welcome pack to see you in on arrival. It was great to sit out on the quiet terrace surrounded by a long garden with a backdrop of trees not overlooked wonderful
Richard Pfleger 28/05/2019
Loved Little Westport. Very well equiped and spotlessly clean.
Location great, quiet area but walking distance in to Wareham.
Will be back ?
Gillian Halliwell 21/05/2019

Lovely accommodation with everything provided. Spotlessly clean.
Love the location - see you next year.

Gill (East Yorkshire) 17/05/2019
Little Westport is an excellent holiday property, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The view from the lounge on a sunny day is glorious. The cottage is only a short walk from the town centre yet in a very quiet location.
For ornithologists RSPB Arne is only a short drive away.
Jeremy G 11/04/2019

A fantastic bungalow in a beautiful setting. Very well equipped
and spotlessly clean. Excellent area for bird watching with Arne
RSPB so close …Thank you for a lovely week with fantastic
weather.

view from the lounge wonderful

We have all had a fabulous stay at Little Westport. The location
is perfect and the accommodation superb! It has everything you need
and so clean and well presented. Our family have all had a lovely
time here. Ideal for the children (they loved the books!). We will
definitely be back again in the future. Thank you so much.

Johnson/Nortons 23/03/2019
A lovely bungalow which was perfect for ourselves and an 88 and 93 year old.
Everything there we needed. Thank you for the wine!
And a green woodpecker in the garden.
Gill Burden 02/10/2018
The property was clean and everything was organised and available. The instructions in the welcome guide were detailed and easy to follow. Wonderful idea to provide beach towels too. A lot of thought had obviously been put into making life easy for guests.

The location and views were stunning. Will definitely be returning.
Liz 14/09/2018
We enjoyed staying in this comfortable house within 5 minutes walk of Wareham centre. The walk in shower was very convenient for my elderly parents and it was helpful to have 2 lavatories. The drive was steep, as was the garden - no good for football, but there was a lovely view of the countryside beyond. The fridge freezer was a decent size and there were all sorts of kitchen pots and pans, etc. On rainy days there was plenty of space in the sitting room to play games or watch a film. However using the TV was pretty complicated! Overall we were happy with the property.
Melissa Robinson 25/08/2018
We loved Wareham and it was well-located for a lot of places we wanted to visit.
The bungalow was a very good standard and easily spacious for all of us (six adults and two children).
Having a three and a half year-old grandson (and a baby) meant we had to move a lot of jugs and tiles that could have been easily broken.
The bungalow was well equipped and had everything you could ever need.
Graham Corio 17/08/2018
5 of us (grandparents, parents and baby) had a lovely week at Little Westport. The bungalow was very clean and exceptionally well equipped. We particularly liked the blackout blind that suctioned onto our window so the baby didn't think it was daytime too early! We also enjoyed the bottle of wine and made use of the disposable bbq that was provided.
Little Westport was really well located, we could walk to shops, pubs and the river. We could also drive to all of the attractions that we wanted to visit within 20 minutes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would recommend and hope to come again.

The only thing that I think the cottage lacked was recycling facilities - it looked as though houses in the area had recycling bins but we could only recycle glass. I think people would recycle cardboard and plastic if a separate bin was available.
Laura Lloyd 29/06/2018
We had a fantastic week at Little Westport, which had absolutely everything we needed. So much space and light, a stunning garden, and a quiet, peaceful spot barely two minutes from Wareham's centre. We visited the area from the Midlands for the birds and wildlife, and certainly weren't disappointed! We'd definitely book the cottage again if we make another visit.
Kitty 18/05/2018
The bungalow was very clean and really well equipped. The owner has gone to lots of trouble to see that everything was there that you could possibly want. There was also an excellent folder with lots of helpful and clear to read instructions.
One day it would be nice if a shower could be fixed over the bath.
It is very much the sort of place that would call us back.
We left a note to say that there is an ants' nest outside the patio door. The door is also quite difficult to open and we think the lock probably needs replacing.
Joyce White 04/05/2018
I can honestly say this is one of the nicest, well equipped holiday cottages we have stayed in. Situated down a private lane it is very peaceful but only a 5 min walk into the centre of Wareham. After a long drive down on Good Friday, it was nice to have a few welcoming touches....tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and even a bottle of wine! There were clear to follow instructions for the heating, keys, bins etc...and plenty of helpful leaflets on what to do in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage and hope to be back in the future.
Paula Wainwright 16/04/2018
We had a great time.
I can live here, space, nature, walking, shopping, train and bus.
Perfect
Note: Perhaps a smaller light point in the kitchen
Sonja 19/01/2018
We have loved our stay at Little Westport! Such a cosy and thoughtfully put together bungalow! You have thought of everything- thank you.
Wareham is a great location too!
We have to come back very soon!
Helen, Nigel, Oscar, Elsie, Jay and David. 02/12/2017
House was perfect for the family and exceptionally well equipped. A fantastic holiday, a shame to leave to go home. Thank you!
Phil, Ruth, Grace, Brian, Sylvia, Laura and Jed. 02/12/2017
A very comfortable and well equipped bungalow. Great location, a few minutes into town and close to many attractions. You even supplied excellent weather especially for a Bank Holiday.
Paul, June, Steve, Gemma, Martin and Rhea. 02/12/2017
Lovely little bungalow. Beautiful gardens! Amazing location. Weather was a bit hit and miss, but still amazing! Thank you.
Ruby (South East London) 02/12/2017
We had an absolutely delightful stay at Little Westport. The home was so well-equipped and a lovely place to rest & holiday for an extended family of Grandparents, 2 children & their fathers and 2 grandchildren (3&11 months). Thank you so much.
Sarah (Toronto, Canada). 02/12/2017
A delightful bungalow in a lovely setting, ideally located for walking into Wareham. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back another time. Excellently equipped, all you need to bring is your clothes.
Williams family, Swansea 28/10/2017
We enjoyed our stay very much, the cottage was very well equipped and my 18 month grandson was able to rush around safely without breaking anything and was well supplied with toys! The cottage was warm and welcoming and made our stay a very easy and happy one. Also a very concise list of instructions and plenty of brochures for information. The people at Dorset coastal cottages couldn't have been more helpful.
Diana Hodson 16/10/2017
Little Westport is in a very good position for exploring the sights of Purbeck and the general Dorset area.

We had 3 generations staying here and all enjoyed the break. It is in a very quiet location but convenient for the local Wareham amenities.

It is a well equipped, lovely bungalow. We liked the fact that the kitchen was quite separate to the bedrooms so that no one was woken up earlier than they wanted.

Our 2 Grandchildren, aged 8 and 6 could have done with twin beds as one of them sleeps like a star fish!

Would certainly stay here again.
Michael Bye 16/09/2017
We love this area and the bungalow is perfect- a proper home away from home. If I could take the view from the terrace home with me, I would. We'd love to come back.
D. Weaver, Suffolk 08/09/2017
We have had a wonderful holiday in Little Westport, it isa beautiful and relaxing home. The weather was perfect.
I would like to say something, we missed a book of walks in the area and what a pitty was that there was no garden furniture stood in the large garden.
On the balcony was a small table with 4 chairs, while the house for 8 people.
We are very pleased with the house.

Kind regards
Sonja Olrichs

Thank you for your review and feedback, there is a further garden table and chairs stored under the balcony. Apologies this was missed.
Sonja Olrichs 30/06/2017
There was plenty of room for the 6 adults and 2 small children. We enjoyed the spacious lounge dining area, well equipped kitchen and large garden. Details such as toys, beach towels and rugs and hair dryer even wood and kindling for the wood burning stove were all much appreciated.
faith Dalley 22/06/2017
Privileged to be the first visitors to Little Wesport. A family of me (mum), my son & his wife & children and my adult daughter. We were all impressed with the high standard of the property and the lovely garden and views. What a wonderful find!! & Dorset Cottages were very helpful. Would love to stay here again- so would my family. It is PERFECT!
