For a seaside break to remember, look no further! Piona is set in a prime location in the heart of Swanage in Dorset. You will have a wealth of attractions, amenities and the all-important sandy beach right at your fingertips - all just a 5 minute walk away! It's so easy to leave your car behind for the duration of your stay, whilst you explore everything the seaside town has to offer.

This newly refurbished second floor apartment has 3 bedrooms; a generously sized master suite, twin bedded room and single room, with a 2ft 6 bed. There is a second 2ft 6 bed available in this room, allowing further flexibility, however please note the beds when used together are more suited to children as they are both low to the ground. There is a good sized second family bathroom for your convenience. The open plan living, kitchen and dining area create an ideal space for the family to get together and perhaps enjoy a board game or two. The modern, stylish kitchen is perfect for cooking up family meals and is well equipped with everything you may need for a week or twos getaway. Enjoy free WIFI and the TV and DVD player - perfect to keep the children entertained.

Piona is a 5 minute walk to the beach and town centre, so you can easily take a morning stroll and enjoy a newspaper and freshly baked croissants whilst taking in the views over Swanage bay. The stunning, blue flag sandy beach and crystal clear waters are perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Explore ice cream stalls, cafes, little shops, pedalos and more along the breathtaking Purbeck Coastline. There are restaurants and eateries a plenty, so you will be spoilt for choice when treating the family out to dinner.

For the keen walkers, why not take up the coastal path at Ballard Down and walk to Studland or Corfe Castle? Or perhaps a fishing boat trip to take in the breathtaking stance of Old Harry Rocks, or try coasteering with Land and Wave from Chapmans Pool at Worth Matravers? Or maybe a day at the Dorset Waterpark, a giant inflatable obstacle course on a lake in Corfe Castle, just a 10 minute drive away will take your fancy?  

With so much to see and do you will be delighted to retreat to this comfortable apartment after a full day of activities. Memories made by the beach are sure to last a lifetime, leaving you wanting to return year after year!

Parking available in garage which can be used as a car port should your car be too large to fully enclose. Gas central heating. New property July 2018


A delightful, very comfortable apartment with every convenience,
and so wonderfully situated close to the sea and shops. Lots of
lovely places to visit. We enjoyed: The cliff walk to Durlston
castle and can recommend the delicious fish and chips at the cafe
there. Lulworth Castle and Lulworth cove and almost made it to
Durdle door. Boat trip to poole on a fabulous sunny and flat day.
Very interesting trip to etches collection at Kimmeridge, which
holds the collection of fossils found by Steve Etches. We can also
recommend Clavels restaurant, opposite, where we had a delicious
lunch. Trip on Swanage to Norden steam train. A wonderful find was
Java coffee house at No3 tilly mead, Where we had delicious scones
with homemade chutney and coffee. All in all a wonderful weeks
holiday especially aided by the lovely, sunny Autumn weather. Thank

This was our second stay at Piona, and it was just as lovey as we remembered it!

For anyone concerned about parking in the small garage - this time we used the main beach car park in Swanage, which is very close to the apartment. If you get the JustPark app, you can pay £33 for a week which allows you to park in any of the long stay car parks in Swanage (info from Swanage council website)

We have been visiting damage area for many years. Staying in various different accommodation but this apartment is the best accommodation we have stayed in. Very clean , airy n spacious convenient for town and beach. With the onus of 2 bathrooms, washing machine and dish washer. ( gave the husband a rest from washing up)
In a very quite location to . We will definitely will be returning soon.

Apartment was clean and bright with plenty of crockery and cutlery, the beach and all amenities being close by was a bonus. The only downside was the size of the garage which was to small for our car and a parking bay would be a better option.

We have recently returned from a stay at Piona and can totally agree with all previous comments. This is a lovely, spacious, conveniently located apartment which is well equipped, clean and welcoming. There was plenty of room for 5 of us, and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus.One thing to be aware of is the small garage, which we didn't feel we could squash our Kia into. A very accommodating neighbour allowed us to park across her garage also.However this didn't affect our stay and we would certainly return to Piona.

We have been regular visitors to Swanage for the last 10 years. The place we used to stay in was sold 2 years ago but now we have found this place we are happy again. Clean and modern with just the right amount of amenities plus it sleeps 5 comfortably.

Beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a long weekend. Parking was convenient and the directions and joining instructions were clear.

The apartment was surprisingly spacious for 5 adults with all new decor.

Clean, roomy and well located apartment. We enjoyed our stay,
one small thing was that there was no mention of the location of
the hairdryer, we only found them in the main bedroom near to the
end of our stay.

Newly refurbished, this flat made a wonderful base for a Swanage holiday. Only minutes walk from the seafront and main town.
The flat was spacious, stylish and well equipped.
Situated at the back of the building, it was quiet. Facing west, we also had some marvellous sunsets from the lounge.
The onlyfly in the ointment, was that the DVD player was faulty. The last we heard was that the maintenance man was coming back again on Saturday 9th to have a further investigation. He didn’t arrive and we heard nothing further from you in our second week. Let’s hope it can be rectified for future guests.

Response: Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you had a problem with the DVD player. Unfortunately when Blake visited Sat 9th you were not there and he was unable to repair. A new DVD player was ordered but did not arrive in time for your stay. I am sorry that you must have missed our message explaining this. We hope to welcome you again soon 🙂

Great apartment, clean and comfortable. Great facilities. Lovely soft towels and nice beds. Brand new carpet throughout. Very handy having two bathrooms. Amazing location for town and seaside. Appreciated the bottle of wine in fridge on arrival. Only negative is parking as we were told there was a garage which we could use as a car port if our car was too big, but it was so low we couldn't even fit our car in it (we have a land rover)! Luckily there was a really nice neighbour that happened to be going away so she let us park blocking her garage in. Could possibly do with a few more pieces of cutlery as when the dishwasher was on, we didn't have any spare. We also ran out of loo roll, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets (but I'm not sure whether that's down to the owners to supply or not).
