Tucked away in the rolling countryside near Abbotsbury, Dorset Farmhouse is a charming, semi detached, rural retreat set on a 350-acre working farm. With sweeping views of the surrounding hills and patchwork fields, the landscape here is straight from a Thomas Hardy novel—unspoiled, timeless, and deeply evocative of Dorset’s pastoral heritage.

This welcoming farmhouse offers a perfect escape into nature, with an open fire in the lounge, inviting you to relax after a day of exploring, and a dining table for six, ideal for sharing meals with loved ones. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, including an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, and a dishwasher, allowing you to enjoy home-cooked meals in the heart of the countryside.

Upstairs, there are three comfortable bedrooms—two king-size rooms, one of which is ensuite, and a twin room with adult-sized beds—providing plenty of space for families or small groups. The family shower room ensures everyone has all the comforts of home, even while surrounded by the tranquillity of the farm.

Outside, the secure front garden with seating offers an idyllic spot to take in the views over the fields, while a further lawn area allows you to enjoy the sights and sounds of farm life. The farm's animals, including alpacas, chickens, and goats, are a delight to see up close, and guests are welcome to explore certain areas of the farm, making it a perfect retreat for animal lovers.

The Farmhouse is situated on a 300 acre farm but the farm yard is at a distance from the cottage, though you are free to stroll around certain area and meet the alpacas, chickens and goats. Shared washing machine in outhouse.
