Poole Harbour Boat Show

Free 3 day boat show, incorporating a variety of marine related businesses and family focused entertainment, plus spectacular firework display.

The Poole Harbour Boat Show is set to return for its fourth year in 2018. Taking place at the award-winning Poole Quay Boat Haven, the show will run from Friday June 8 until Sunday June 10.

Wimborne Minster Folk Festival

As we roll into our fifth year of the much-loved folk festival in Wimborne, the volunteer organising committee guarantee to bring you the biggest and best festival to date, including an extended music programme and a whole weekend of entertainment for the entire family.

In the second weekend of June, we will be bringing the town alive with an exciting mix of music & dance. You can wander through Wimborne and enjoy any of the free shows, or buy tickets to see one of our headline acts.

Upton House Music Festival – 

Three nights of open air concerts to be staged on the beautiful lawns of Upton House, allowing you to either picnic on the lawns, purchase a Gold Circle reserved seat or enjoy VIP hospitality.

Swanage Fish Festival 

We’re celebrating all things fishy and highlighting our local businesses and skills. The event is all about fish, fun and LOCAL and is set in a stunning location overlooking the bay in Prince Albert gardens, Swanage. Come and support our local businesses and join in the fun!

1st – 3rd June

Fairy Festival

will be making a huge splash again this year in the stunning seaside town of Swanage in Dorset. You will be mesmerized with the spectacular live mermaid show, spellbound by the enchanting fairies,  pillaging pirates and super strong super heroes that will come to life over three magical  days in June half term 2023!!

11th – 24th June

Bridport Food & Drink Festival 

The Festival’s main event at Asker Meadows on Saturday 20th June when we join up with the Bridport Round Table Beer Festival. Join the carnival atmosphere and a whole host of food and fun for all ages.

Open Air Cinema – Walled Garden Poole

Enjoy high definition projection, giant screens and superb audio. The events offer a range of ticket options, from bring your own to a choice of seating options including deckchairs, single bean bags and double bean bags to cuddle up on. It’s not just about the film, there will be food and drink on sale as well.

Architectural Photography Workshop

Upton Country Park has teamed up with some expert locally-based photographers to host regular Photography Workshops during 2018.

Maybe you’ve always wanted to get to know a little more about what your camera is capable of, meet some new people and experience the Country Park from a different perspective? We’re sure these one day workshops will help and develop your skills. £45 per adult (over 16’s only) includes refreshments, a buffet lunch and tea.

Today’s workshop (Architectural Photography) is led by Jon Mackenzie and will explore the impressive grade II listed Upton House.

Tankfest

Bovington Tank Museum’s TankFest. While there be sure to keep an eye out for the Matilda 1, Tiger 131, Valentine DD, Panzer III, Comet, and the newly arrived Buffel and M110, among many others! The Armoured Trials and Development Unit (ATDU) have once again agreed to demonstrate a number of The Army’s current armoured fighting vehicles.

West Bay Adventure Centre

A crew of pesky pirates have washed ashore at West Bay and hidden their pirates’ pebbles around the Centre.

From Saturday 27th May to Sunday 4th June, children can make paper pirate puppets, help us find the hidden pebbles and become a honorary pirate!

Admission free, donations welcomed.
