New Cottage 2019

Another fantastic stay in this wonderful house. Thank you so much.
Clive and Sue Barrett and family - August, 2021 24/09/2021
Have enjoyed many walks and returing to relax here happily at the house. Last day a wonderful swim on Studland beach. Hope to return and hope to see the deer.
Helen, Alan and Phoebe Day - September, 2021 24/09/2021
Our 5th visit - it just gets better. This year good weather and our first visit to the Dorset water Park. Everyone had a great time
Akers - August, 2021 27/08/2021
Everything we had hoped for and as described on your website. Cottage itself was fabulous and so well appointed with everything a group of 6 adults and one toddler would need. Outside space, patio and garden were particularly good and we spent large part of our time enjoying the lovely garden. Safe and enclosed although a couple of beautiful Sika Deer did manage to get through a small gap and join us for breakfast on a couple of occasions. My 15 month old grandson was mesmerised and we loved the experience.
Greg Murphy - July, 2021 09/08/2021
Wow - what a week! House is a perfect base. Amazingly well-equipped with a gorgeous garden. Beaches: Knoll (Studland), Middle beach, Ringsteam, Worth Matravers. Swanage pubs: Fox, Castle; Square & Compass, Bankes Arms (Studland). Saw wild deer at front of the house. Food at the Pig, Shell Bay, The Castle Inn - all offer great food. Amazing views from the Pig at Studland Bay and Shell Bay.
Cooks and Kings - July 2021 23/07/2021
The accommodation was excellent this is the best equipped cottage I have had the pleasure to stay in.
Frances Newsome - June 2021 15/07/2021
Spacious beautiful cottage, in a perfect location with stunning views of Corfe Castle from the garden. All the modern amenities you need to make it a home from home. Good off-road parking and super fast internet.

Russet Cottage is extremely well equipped, beautifully clean and has top quality furnishings particularly the beds and bedding.
Teresa Birch May 2021 21/06/2021

Dawn Gaston + Family - May 2021 07/05/2021
Couldn't have imagined staying anywhere better to celebrate my husbands 60th! Stunning cottage and so well equipped. The location is perfect too for dog walking up on the common. Just up the road to my mums house in Springwell. Hopefully we can return in March to celebrate her 80th Birthday. Thank you!
The Dougans April 2021 30/04/2021
Stunning cottage and had an amazing holiday. Nothing better than relaxing in front of the open fire after a winter walk across the countryside. Great location and short walk to the pubs and local facilities.
A Boocock 28/04/2021
Wonderfully equipped for a home from home stay. Very homely and cosy. Great beds. Bit daunting if you have never used an aga. But we enjoyed the challenge.
L Tipton July 13/01/2021
Russett Cottage is a beautiful, spacious cottage in a fabulous location. It had everything we neededand we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so cosy and perfectly located for exploring the Isle of Purbeck.
J Paton Oct 2020 13/01/2021
Fantastic cottage which realy felt homely. Aga was great my wife wants one now. The lounge area is a very relaxing room.
Newton Oct 2020 13/01/2021
We have stayed in Russet Cottage before and have always found it very well equipped, more so than other holiday cottages.
Cleanliness was top notch even under present difficult circumstances. It is always welcoming and a pleasure to return to, hence our booking for 2021 already in place.
T Birch Oct 2020 13/01/2021
After the first lockdown it was a taste of paradise to stay at this cottage. The thought of a holiday kept me going through several difficult months working on a covid ward, and in reality it surpassed my expectations. It's a roomy house but with a cottage feel. Absolutely perfect. The garden gave us plenty of room to relax while the children played in the sunshine.

This was the perfect cottage for your needs of two families travelling together. The location in Corfe Castle was idyllic and peaceful with all the sights of this area of Dorset within easy drive. The cottage is well equipped and spacious with a large garden. We would happily return.
Rebecca 09/09/2019
This was our second year at Russett Cottage and we enjoyed our time there even more than a year ago. It is so like a home-from-home and so well placed near the Common as well as only a short walk into the Square. We hope to return on a regular basis. Many thanks for good upkeep!
Susan Compton 01/08/2019
Cottage was very comfortable, and lovely garden. Could have done with more wardrobe space and had to turn the Aga off due to the heatwave! But had a fantastic holiday thank you.
Susan 30/07/2019
Russett Cottage, was very spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped, and had a beautiful garden.
A 5 minute walk into Corfe Castle, and up the hill in the opposite direction into lovely countryside.
A most enjoyable week.
Janet 25/06/2019
Our fourth visit to Russet Cottage and still find it a lovely comfortable spacious holiday home. Beautifully clean, comfortable beds, very well equipped with a gorgeous peaceful garden. The alterations to the parking area are a great improvement also.
Hope to return in October.
