Situated in the heart of the seaside town of Swanage in a quiet, residential tree lined street, less than 5 mins walk to restaurants, pubs, shops and the beach. You can enjoy a lovely glimpse view across Swanage bay from the lounge window. The apartment boasts many period features including high ceilings, stained glass sash windows and solid wood flooring. The owners have taken great care to modernise this apartment in a contemporary style without losing its Edwardian charm. The seaside town of Swanage is well worth a visit whatever the season; be it a vibrant summer beach holiday or to enjoy peaceful autumnal hues.

Malvern Apt is very popular for couples who want to take a break out of season. With plenty of comfortable space for the two of you, plus all the conveniences you could need, Malvern Apt is a real home away from home. A warm place to hibernate or a base to explore, quirky seaside touches remind you that the beach is only a short stroll away.

The Isle of Purbeck is a walker's paradise and the apartment is well located, close to walks from Durlston Country Park, with its castle and stone globe. Walk from Malvern Apartment along the South West Coast Path in either direction to Worth Matravers or Studland and Sandbanks.

One king size bedroom with ensuite shower room. Lounge TV with Netflix, Firestick, free view, dining table. Large kitchenette (oven, hob, microwave, washer/drier, fridge/icebox). It was excellent, everything you could need but does need a new mattress.

We have stayed at the Malvern before it has everything you could possibly need, great shower room, lovely big shower, good size bed spacious lounge/kitchen area. We've never heard any of the other tenants. Also there is a much needed car park space.

Tha apartment was comfortable, pretty well equipped and part of a lovely old building with wooden floors and stained glass windows. I was kept well informed by Dorset Cottage Holidays and think they provided an excellent service.

Lovely comfortable well equipped apartment . It was great to be able to leave the car and walk to the shops , pubs, cafes, beach, and the fabulous coastal walks. There were lots of places to visit a short drive away such as Corfe Castle and Arne Nature reserve . I would love to visit again .

The Isle of Purbeck is one of the most beautiful holiday locations in the country. Malvern Apartment is ideally placed in the centre of Swanage to tour the whole peninsula.

We appreciated the friendly Xmas decorations and proximity to the sea and town centre. The flat is small, but well equipped and generally quite comfortably presented (though internal doors felt quite institutional).

The main front door to the building has sellotape over the inside lock, with a request from the management not to lock it "since not everyone in the building has keys" (why not?!). This is disconcerting and does not meet usual expectations around security. The shared entrance hall is very dirty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned for years - this is a very unpleasant first impression and it needs to be sorted out. I'm aware there were notes saying we could contact the owner or DH Cottages, but we did not want the hassle of complaining on arrival (and felt it wouldn't be realistic to have someone come over to clean it so close to Xmas).

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. It would be hard to find fault with this property and it is a credit to the owners who have thought of absolutely everything. We could not have wished to have stayed in a better place. It is very clean, creatively decorated and every last detail has been considered. We could not think of any item we would like to add to those provided.

Very clean and comfortable flat .
Kitchen very well stocked But equipment for cooking to large.
And no place to put any food shopping.
We did have a nice break in swanage.
The only thing that let it down was the entrance hall

You need to be fit to stay at this apartment as Park Road is very steep. however, it is very central for the town being only a five minute walk away. The accomodation is very clean modern and well equipped.However, the thing that lets this property down is the outside entrance space.The driveway and entrance steps are very uneven and unsightly, and not easy to negotiate in the dark. Old overgrown plant pots also give the place an unkempt appearance. This is such a shame as the apartment is very comfortable and well maintained. I would also have appreciated a blind in the bedroom as there is a garden directly outside the window that belongs to another resident. this meant I had to keep the curtains closed all the time for some privacy.This is a lovely, well priced apartment that just needs a few changes to make it excellent holiday accomodation.

Fabulously located a very short walk up the hill from the town centre. Smart and had everything we needed. Supplying washing up utensils, tea/coffee, salt pepper, oil etc all useful nice touches. Good shower pressure, nice and clean.

I have had a fantastic weekend! The apartment is lovely; comfortable with everything you could possibly want- I would actually live here!! A real home from home. Swanage itself is a beautiful, quaint place. I will definitely come back to stay again.

We have had a wonderful stay- lots to do in Swanage and surrounding area. Steam train to Corfe Castle, lovely walks to Durlston Park/Castle, chain ferry to Sandbanks and stunning Lulworth Cove and Durdle door. Lots of places to eat and drink. Didnt have time to fit in a boat trip to Poole so we will return.

We have had a super week here - great weather. Very well equipped apartment. Excellent cream tea at the railway- best fish and chips from The Fish Plaice. Great for coastal walks, very friendly local people. Recommend a trip on the steam railway- behind the LSWR!
