Well appointed cottage, delightful interior, in ideal location with lots of walks close by. Make sure to visit the Castle Inn for Sunday lunch.

All of our party gave this cottage 10/10. There wasn't a single negative we could say about Butchers cottage. Everything had been thought about our comfort. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the garden too. The location was ideal too and we loved Corfe Castle itself. We only wish we could have booked 2 weeks there! Thank you so much everyone at Dorset Cottage Holidays.

What a superbly well appointed, decorated, maintained and located cottage. Wish it was 'home from home' as had to return to a slightly more chaotic home having left the very well presented and thought through calm of The Old Butcher's Cottage.....
Don't want to leave a good review really as would rather no-one knows of this gem in Corfe's crown!
Niki 06/06/2019
The cottage is immaculate. I mean I tried to find fault with it and thought we had found a deficiency when looking for egg cups. Of course we found them too. No detail is missed.

Location is lovely and quiet being set off the main road, and away from the railway, but is a short walk from the castle, station, four good pubs, shops, country walks and kids playground making it one of the best locations we've ever had the pleasure to be based in.

A short drive takes you to the stunning Studland beaches, and also the attractions of Monkey World and the Tank Museum, and there's a couple of golf courses nearby too. Local towns of Swanage and Wareham have a greater selections of shops, restaurants and other entertainment leaving you wanting for nothing.

In short, the whole package is faultless.
David 28/05/2019
We recently spent a week at the Old Butchers Cottage and have to say how impressed we were with the property. The owners have clearly spent a lot of time and effort getting it ready and the attention to detail was clear.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and the attached lounge and dining area comfortable, with a large TV, Sonos speaker and apple TV. You can log in to your own accounts for Netflix etc, but remember to delete when you leave.
There is a shower room downstairs and upstairs there were 3 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. Parking is on the side of the cottage, it is a little tight, we had 2 cars and we just about managed it but if you have 2 large vehicles it might be a struggle.
The location of the property is perfect in Corfe Castle with a number of decent pubs for eating as well as the Castle ruins to visit. There are a number of great walks that you can do from the village so you won't always need the car.
There are 6 of us in total, 4 adults and 2 children, plus the dog and we had plenty of room in the cottage . We go away every year and have to say The Old Butchers Cottage is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in..
Jon 24/04/2019
Beautifully appointed cottage, situated in a quiet street in the centre of Corfe. Straight out to walks through open fields, farm land & common in the shadow of the castle.

The Cottage is full of high spec & high tech! Everything has been thought of & decorated for your pleasure & enjoyment.

We had a wonderful week & would highly recommend for a break away in Dorset.
