Great cottage - everything we wanted . We will be back.
Letting agent was on hand for any problems.
Any possibilities of another stay here, and we definitely will.
if you are going into town for food/drink make sure to book ASAP. Food at Greyhound is amazing. Totally recommend.
Don't want to leave a good review really as would rather no-one knows of this gem in Corfe's crown!
Location is lovely and quiet being set off the main road, and away from the railway, but is a short walk from the castle, station, four good pubs, shops, country walks and kids playground making it one of the best locations we've ever had the pleasure to be based in.
A short drive takes you to the stunning Studland beaches, and also the attractions of Monkey World and the Tank Museum, and there's a couple of golf courses nearby too. Local towns of Swanage and Wareham have a greater selections of shops, restaurants and other entertainment leaving you wanting for nothing.
In short, the whole package is faultless.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and the attached lounge and dining area comfortable, with a large TV, Sonos speaker and apple TV. You can log in to your own accounts for Netflix etc, but remember to delete when you leave.
There is a shower room downstairs and upstairs there were 3 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. Parking is on the side of the cottage, it is a little tight, we had 2 cars and we just about managed it but if you have 2 large vehicles it might be a struggle.
The location of the property is perfect in Corfe Castle with a number of decent pubs for eating as well as the Castle ruins to visit. There are a number of great walks that you can do from the village so you won't always need the car.
There are 6 of us in total, 4 adults and 2 children, plus the dog and we had plenty of room in the cottage . We go away every year and have to say The Old Butchers Cottage is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in..
The Cottage is full of high spec & high tech! Everything has been thought of & decorated for your pleasure & enjoyment.
We had a wonderful week & would highly recommend for a break away in Dorset.
