Set entirely on one level and surrounded by greenery, this four-bedroom, wheelchair friendly property is ideal for multigenerational families, walking groups, and those bringing their dogs along to enjoy the surrounding countryside.

Inside, Underhill is bright, spacious and relaxed. The main lounge is a welcoming, sociable space with a wood-burning stove, Freesat TV, and doors opening onto a decking area with shaded garden furniture. A second living space, designed as a children’s snug or den, includes a TV, bean bags, and games - a great space for younger guests to unwind independently.

The large kitchen is well-equipped for preparing food for family or friends, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a large dining area that seats everyone comfortably. A separate walk-in pantry offers extra fridge space and plenty of storage. Whether you’re preparing a hearty breakfast before heading out or settling in for an evening meal, the space is designed for doing so together.

The four bedrooms are all on the ground floor: three twins (with the master room offering the option to combine beds into a superking), and a cosy single room. Three bathrooms - a wet room, a family bathroom, and an additional shower room - offer flexible and accessible facilities for all guests.

Underhill is particularly well-suited for dog owners. With 3 or 4 dogs welcome (charges apply), the home has been thoughtfully set up with pets in mind. The spacious garden is perfect for outdoor time, with mature hedging, shaded areas, and multiple patios for lounging after long countryside walks. While the garden may not be fully secure in every corner, it's generous in size and offers dogs plenty of space to roam under supervision. The nearby countryside, heathland, and trails - including access to the Purbeck Ridgeway - mean you’ll never be short of new places to explore together.

A dedicated laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is ideal for muddy paws or sandy towels. The home is centrally heated with underfloor heating in some areas. Parking is provided for 3 to 4 cars, including a car port. Linen and towels are included in weekly and short break bookings. A travel cot and high chair are available. You can walk from Underhill along the Purbeck Hills to the village of Corfe Castle. Corfe Castle is one of Dorset’s most beloved villages - steeped in history, framed by rolling hills, and home to a 1,000-year-old castle ruin that dominates the skyline. From Underhill, you’re just 2 miles from the heart of the village, with its pubs, tea rooms, village shop, and the iconic Swanage Railway, which runs steam trains through the Purbeck countryside to the coast at Swanage.

For dog walkers and nature lovers, the area surrounding Corfe offers miles of scenic trails. From the ridgeway path to Studland and Old Harry Rocks, to lowland meadows and woodland trails around Rempstone Forest, the landscape is rich and varied. Many of the local pubs and cafés are dog-friendly, making it easy to stop off and refuel after a day outdoors.
