Old Stone House

Tucked away in the coastal town of Swanage, Old Stone House is a charming, three-bedroom cottage that offers a relaxed and comfortable escape, perfect for families, friends, or couples. With its classic stone exterior and cosy interiors, this dog-friendly property provides a welcoming base for exploring the nearby beaches, countryside, and all the town has to offer.

Inside, the lounge is a comfortable space to unwind, featuring plush sofas, a Smart TV, and an open fire—ideal for cooler evenings. The dining room, with seating for eight, is perfect for family meals or relaxed dinners with friends. From here, steps lead to French doors that open onto the garden, bringing the outside in and making this space bright and inviting. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

The house offers three thoughtfully arranged bedrooms. On the first floor, you’ll find two king-size rooms (one ensuite with washing machine), both comfortable and airy. The first-floor family bathroom features a small bath with a shower over, and the ensuite is fitted with a shower cubicle. On the second floor, a double bed and a single provide a versatile setup, ideal for children or extra guests.

Outside, the secure walled garden at Old Stone House is a peaceful spot to enjoy the fresh air. With a patio and garden furniture for outdoor dining, and a lawn area for kids or dogs to enjoy, it’s a great space to relax. On-road parking is available on the surrounding streets with an unloading area at the front, making it convenient for unloading luggage or heading out to explore.

Guests should note that the cottage does have steps in between levels.
