Mimosa House is a delightful, newly refurbished two-bedroom bungalow, set in a quiet cul-de-sac in Sandford, Wareham. This self-catering accommodation offers plenty of space for a family of 4 and is an ideal spot for a coastal break in Dorset.
Recently refurbished and decorated to a very high standard, featuring warm sage and greys, Mimosa House benefits from a wonderful secluded garden, excellent amenities and private parking.
When entering the property the hall provides ample space to hang/store coats, shoes and boots. To one side of the hallway there is a separate utility area which provides a sink, washing machine and essentials such as iron, ironing board and airer. There is also a separate WC.
To the other side of the hallway is the entrance into the spacious kitchen with open plan living area. The modern kitchen is beautifully finished with grey cabinets providing plenty of storage and newly fitted appliances. There is a large kitchen island with bar stools and skylights above, to let plenty of natural light in. The lounge provides two comfortable sofas with a smart TV for your entertainment. There is also a separate area which provides another sofa and a beautiful vintage dining table for you to enjoy your favourite meal. Open up the patio doors and indulge in an afternoon tea on the sunny decked patio or maybe just relax and enjoy the sun. The open plan living space has all the ingredients for you to enjoy time together as a family, but still have the space to do your own thing.
Off the lounge area is a hallway which leads to the bathroom and two bedrooms. The family bathroom provides a free standing roll top bath, sink, toilet and large walk in shower.
Mimosa House provides two well presented bedrooms. Bedroom one is a large bedroom with a king size bed, bedside tables, drawers and two single wardrobes. Bedroom two is a twin room with a bedside table and an open wardrobe with shelfs and hanging space. Both bedrooms have windows which offer views to the front garden.
Enjoy a wonderful outside space in a well-maintained south-east facing garden, that gets plenty of sunshine complete with outdoor garden furniture and shed.
This holiday home can be found in Sandford, a small village just couple of miles away from the pretty town of Wareham. There are local shops, a pub and a petrol station within a stone’s throw away from Mimosa House. Wareham which is a 20 minute walk, or a short car/bus journey, provides a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. The train station is also close by which has regular services to Weymouth and London Waterloo.
Within a short drive explore nearby attractions and iconic landmarks such as Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Blue Poole, Corfe Castle village and Kimmeridge Bay and Arne Nature Reserve. For a fun day out with the kids, venture to Monkey World, Tank Museum, Farmer Palmers, Putlake Farm and Dorset Adventure Park – plenty of attractions to keep you and children occupied whatever the weather.
There is also the beautiful seaside town of Swanage which runs various events throughout the year. Studland beach is not far away and provides a sandy beach for all the family to enjoy. Bournemouth beach and town are also worth visiting with plenty of attractions for all the family. Poole Quay is also lovely with an array of restaurants and shops to visit. Take a boat from Poole Quay and visit Brownsea Island Nature Reserve, the famous home to Red Squirrels.
From the property you can also walk to Wareham Forest where there are many lovely walks.
