Set in an idyllic location, this welcoming 18th century, Grade II listed character cottage stands in the heart of the picturesque village of Corfe Castle. Set over two floors, Church Cottage has recently undergone refurbishments, boasting three spacious bedrooms, beautifully modernised family bathroom and a fully enclosed, non-private garden - ideal for the whole family to unwind.

Step inside Church Cottage to find a welcoming space; discover a fully-equipped countryside kitchen, offering a breakfast bar and all of the appliances you'll need to create delicious meals during your stay. A separate lounge/diner is light and airy, and complete with a smart TV, gas fire place, comfortable furnishings and lovely garden views. Indulge in a fully enclosed garden, benefiting from a summer house and two sets of garden furniture– a fantastic space for dogs and children to make the most of the Dorset get away.

Upstairs there are three tastefully decorated and light-filled bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom, facing the garden, has a king size bed, build in wardrobe and a dresser. Double bedroom has a build in wardrobe, and the bunk bedroom (double at the bottom, single bed at the top) has a large dresser. All three bedrooms benefit from the use of the family bathroom, with a bath tub and overhead shower.

The beauty of Church cottage is in its location, situated a stone’s throw from the ruins of the famous Corfe Castle and the village square, close to the local shops, pubs and deli. You can take a morning stroll from your cottage door and purchase croissants in the village bakery or enjoy coffee in the team rooms. There are plenty of breathtaking walks from your door, explore the castle runs, hike to the coast or ramble up the Purbeck hills that overlook the village.

Corfe Castle is within an easy drive to the riverside Saxon town of Wareham, famous Lulworth landmarks and coastal towns of Swanage and Studland.

Terraced cottage. 3 Bedrooms (all on first floor): king size room with built-in wardrobe; double room; bunk bed (double on the ground and single on the top). F/Fl Family bathroom with a bath and shower over, basin, WC and heated towel rail. G/fl kitchen: microwave, electric oven, induction hob, tall fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, small table to sit 2 and a separate breakfast bar to sit 2. Lounge/dining area: smart TV, two sofas and an armchair, built in round seating with a table to sit 6 comfortably. Downstairs WC with basin. High chair available. No stairgate. Travel cot can be hired from DCH for £25 per booking. WIFI. Linen and towels for weekly and short bookings provided (please bring your own beach towels). Heating: gas central heating. 2 small dogs are welcome at £25 for each. Fully enclosed garden with garden furniture and small charcoal BBQ and a summer house. No allocated parking, but there are car parks available in Corfe Castle within a short walk to the cottage and short stay 1 hour (free) parking is available outside the cottage between the hours of 10am-8pm. Thereafter free parking is available overnight and between the hours of 8pm-10am.


Please note, the garden is not even and there are steps throughout the cottage.
Please note, the back garden access is shared with the neighbour and due consideration must be shown reference noise levels and pet ownership. In addition, your neighbour has access to their garden via grass garden pictured. Church Cottage is not private and we recommend dogs are kept on the lead.
