The Saxon walled town of Wareham is a fifteen minute drive away, relax on the Quay or take a pleasure cruise onto Brownsea Island and Poole Harbour. Location excellent for Swanage beaches. Parking at the rear convenient. Easy to walk into Swanage.
Enjoyed our stay for the weekend even though the weather was inclement.
Response: Thank you for your lovely review. The washing line and back door lock problem you experienced has now been resolved.
Only useful extras would be a steamer for the cooker and a simple washing line for the wetsuits, towels etc, there was an old rusted rotary but we never found the hole in the lawn!
Only complaint the lights in the kitchen a bit dim but that's being a bit picky everything else is really good
Having said that, I would thoroughly recommend this property as a good family holiday home.
Just a couple of things to suggest: we were surprised at so little cupboard space in the kitchen for food; some more cupboard space would be very helpful. The double bed in the room at the back of the house was extremely creaky (i.e. every time you moved in bed, it creaked) and didn't feel very sturdy...maybe could do with an upgrade!?
Overall though it was an excellent house to stay in and would stay there again!
Thank you Lizards Rest
