This pretty, Grade II listed, detached property, standing in its own grounds, dates from the late 16th century and was once a Tudor toll house said to have been in the family of Anne Boleyn. It provides a cosy, romantic getaway, and is less than a mile from the Lulworth Cove and spectacular Jurassic Coast. The whole area offers great walking and cycling country and lots of popular attractions including Swanage Steam Railway, Dulston Country Park, Thomas Hardy Country, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and Weymouth with its Georgian seafront. You can also explore the small village of Corfe (NT) famous for its beautiful castle. The famous Fossil Forest is also nearby, which takes you back 135 million years ago, where there are the remains of algae and mud that collected around tree stumps and fossilised to form doughnut-shaped structures. Further along the coast there are the ripple marks of an ancient beach. Also visit Lulworth Cove Heritage Centre, packed with local history, and recently expanded to accommodate more exhibitions, such as a geology section, fossil section together with displays of smuggling and sailing.

Nearest shop is in the village, which is seasonal is 0.5 miles away and the pub and restaurant is 100 yards away from the cottage.
Arrivals and Car Parking Facility
The property is located in the village off the main road down to Lulworth Cove. There is no street lighting in the village, but the front courtyard and side entrance to the cottage are illuminated by external lamps. There is parking for two cars in the gated driveway.
Access and Main Entrance
The front door is reached from the gravel pathway. There are no steps. The front door is 84cm wide and 170cm in height, it is hinged from the right. The door opens into the kitchen. The light switch for the kitchen is on the wall to the left hand side. The switch for the exterior light is behind the door on the wall to the right hand side.
The 2 double bedrooms and main bath room are accessed from the lounge by a door (175cm x 68cm) Leading to a wool carpeted steep staircase, which has wooden safety handrails.
Both bedrooms have sloping ceilings and there are some low doorways within the cottage.
Kitchen (2.8 × 2.7)
There is a traditional wooden window with cottage curtains overlooking the garden. Fitted units and Belfast sink, table and 4 chairs, cutlery, glasses and crockery for 4 guests. Dishwasher, electric oven/grill, fridge with icebox, electric hob and microwave. Coat hooks on black of front door. Engineered wooden flooring .Radiator fitted with thermostat control.
Hallway leading to downstairs W.C and shower room accessed by a door from the kitchen. The door is 66cm wide and 189cm high. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Comprises standard height toilet, washbasin, cabinet with mirror, fitted ceiling light, radiator with thermostat control and a stand alone shower cubicle with glass screen. The floor is tiled and has underfloor heating. The control switch is located on the wall outside the door on the right hand side.

There are 2 windows. One with an alcove cushioned window seat looking out to the courtyard and the other onto the Lulworth Road.
There is a large 2 seater settee, 2 comfortable armchairs, all with cushions and a blanket for guests use. A Coffee table, 3 side tables and a dresser with shelves containing novels,guidebooks,and maps.
The flooring is wooden laminate and there is an oriental style rug, heating is provided by an Electric Fire and a thermostat controlled radiator. Lighting is 3 mounted wall lights, a table lamp, and a free standing floor lamp.

The door is 60cm wide and 188cm in height and the room has sloping ceilings and alcoves .There is one traditional thatch window facing south which has lined curtains.
Built in wardrobe and hangers, a hair dryer is also provided. There is a double bed with a fully sprung mattress, duvet, pillows and decorative pillows and throw.
Two bedside tables , a large chest of drawers, mirror and a fabric cushioned chair. Wool carpets and heating is proved by thermostatic controlled radiator. Lighting is a mounted wall light which is above the bed and two bedside lamps.
Bedroom 2 (2.9×2.6m)
The door is 60cm wide and 170cm in height and the room has sloping ceilings and beams. There are two traditional wooden thatch windows, one overlooks the garden and the other onto the road leading to Lulworth Cove, both have fully lined cottage curtains .
There is one double bed with fully sprung mattress, duvet and pillows. There are two dress pillows and matching throw. The room had a built in wardrobe with clothe hangers , and two bedside tables with drawers. Lighting is via a mounted wall light above the bed and two bedside lamps. Wool carpets and heating is provided by a thermostatic controlled radiator.
Bathroom(2.9 ×2.7m)
Door is 68cm wide and 170cm in height. The traditional thatch cottage window overlooks the garden and courtyard. The bathroom comprises a roll top bath, standard height toilet and bidet, wash basin, mirror and heated towel radiator. There are 3 towel rails and a fitted glass shelf above the bath. There is a freestanding wooden chest which has 7 drawers and a fabric covered wooden chair. The flooring is non slip laminated wood and there is an oriental style rug on the floor. Lighting is proved by four bathroom downlights.
Landing
A window overlooks the courtyard. There is a large traditional chest of drawers and a wall mounted mirror, oppose the bathroom door. The thermostat for the gas central heating is mounted on the left-hand side opposite bedroom 2, and the lighting is provided by a mounted wall light and a ceiling light.
Grounds and Garden
The garden is laid to lawn with borders, flower beds and hedging .There is a courtyard to the front of the cottage, which has a table and four garden chairs. A gas barbeque is also provided.
