Glebe Cottage is the perfect choice for a family holiday in Dorset. Set in a secluded part of the exclusive village of Studland, this spacious detached, luxury home has recently been furnished to a very high standard. The contemporary open plan living space is perfect for a family break by the sea in Dorset.

The village of Studland is popular year-round for its miles of sandy beaches, spectacular landmarks and quaint village charm. Studland benefits a village shop showcasing local produce and is well stocked for last minute purchases. There are restaurants, pubs and tea rooms, allowing you to leave the car behind and absorb the atmosphere of a quintessentially English village.

Three well-proportioned and sunny bedrooms offer views of the surrounding countryside. Coupled with large windows and an indoor/outdoor open-plan living area, the feeling of space is marvellous and allows your family the freedom you may be searching for.

A delightful sunny lawn and your own patio dining area are perfect for those hazy summer evenings lighting the coal BBQ. Why not watch the sun set over Studland Bay with a glass of wine? The wrap-around balcony takes advantage of the panoramic views and enhances the feeling of wide open space here in Studland.

After a day of exploring the Isle of Purbeck or admiring the most expensive property in the UK in Sandbanks, indulge in the feather pillows and plush sumptuous linen. After a restful night's sleep, cook up a storm for breakfast and enjoy eating together as a family around the kitchen island, with a stunning coastal backdrop

The seaside town of Swanage is just a short drive away. Here you will find eateries, bars and boutique shopping. A seafront mini theme park "Santa Fe", fish &chips aplenty and the famous Swanage Steam Railway wont leave you wanting. For those of you seeking adventure and adrenaline filled activities, look for Land & Wave or Dorset Water Park (Corfe Castle), Coasteering, paddle boarding and a giant inflatable obstacle course await. Make memories to last a lifetime on the glorious South coast.

We had a wonderful few days in Glebe Cottage.
A modern and clean house with wonderful views of Studland and the coast. Great location for a walk into Swanage, a ramble in the countryside or just relaxing in front of the fire.
The house is very spacious and comfortable,
the decor and furnishing contemporary and tasteful.

I would highly recommend this property for a long weekend or for a couple of weeks any time of the year.

Five stars!

We fell in love with Glebe Cottage which exceeded all our expectations. We had read the reviews which were all excellent but were bowled over by the spaciousness and modern interior which gave it a Skandi feel. It is very tastefully decorated and it is clear the owners have given a lot of thought to everything including the garden which is delightful. I now want a wildflower garden. We saw deer in the adjacent field and saw a badger when we walked back from The Pig one evening. The views are stunning and we also had some beautiful sunsets. The walk to Old Harry rocks is a must do.
We loved the neaby Studland beaches which are
perfect for young children and visited Monkey World and Corfe Castle which we would recommend. I hadnΒ’t been to Swanage for over 30 years and was pleasantly surprised that it had retained its traditional seaside feel and had not been spoilt or over developed, shop keepers were all very friendly and helpful. I feel I have I have introduced a new generation to the magic of Dorset and we canΒ’t wait to return.

Thank you for another wonderful week at Glebe Cottage.
Superbly clean and well equipped.

Not a criticism at all but would advise that we would have liked to use the dining room table more but were very worried about the lack of heat resistance mats or table cover for such a lovely table.

What an amazing place the Glebe Estate is, is so beautiful.
Visited Compton Acres Gardens, Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, the
Isle of Wight for the day and Weymouth are all well worth a visit.
We also visited RSPB in Arne and Kingston Maurward Animal Park and
Gardens, again all well worth the visit. We would like to visit
again as we couldn't fit everything in! The weather was amazing
too. Thank you!

Great location, amazing views and very peaceful. We loved
staying on the Glebe estate in your beautiful home. A very stylish
and practical layout with our little girls. The girls loved playing
in the garden. Windy week but little rain and sunshine by Easter.
We enjoyed visiting the Studland beaches, Swanage amusements, Rick
Stein at Sandbanks for lunch and the magical Brownsea Island. See
you next year Studland, our favourite place to holiday!

Great location to base yourself to see and experience the wonders of Dorset. Favourite places include Kimmeridge Beach, Knoll Beach and Lulworth Cove. Treated to a Sika Dear stag, Red Deer doe and birds of prey in the field behind. Thank you

We always love coming to Studland - one of our favourite places and we have enjoyed staying in this beautiful house! We even saw a rather large stag deer in the garden one evening!
Padleys 03/09/2018
This is a lovely house in a great location, close enough to all the wonderful Studland Beaches and the walks to Old Harry - try the steep path behind the Glebe estate.
We also loved many of the local places such as Brownsea Island and Tyneham 'Lost Village'

Glebe Cottage gave us the perfect holiday base to explore the beaches, walks, countryside and attractions of the Isle of Purbeck. The house was clean, very comfortable, furnished and equipped beautifully yet practically, and offered the best location for walking to beaches, the shop, the tea-rooms and over the hill to Swanage.
We loved the steam train to Corfe Castle, our visit to Monkey World and the best beach is Shell Bay. National Trust membership is very helpful.
We could watch deer from the balcony in the fields behind the house, then turn to see the sea views to the front. A lovely property that we hope to return to.
Mrs P Smith 25/08/2018
Very clean and comfortable. Excellent standard of equipment but a few more bits and pieces need to be added. More mugs and glasses needed. There were no beer glasses.
We were surprised there was no tumble dryer.
One concern was there was no handrail on the steps leading from the patio down to the garden which the elder guest found quite difficult.
One of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in and we hope to return.
Mrs S Charters 03/08/2018
Beautiful house - the sunset is lovely. We had a great week and enjoyed the coastal walk at Durlston Country Park, great cafe too. All the Studland beaches were lovely. Shell Bay Cafe for seafood. Corfe Castle also fab! πŸ™‚
