This access statement provides information about the access, layout and facilities at the property to help guests determine whether the accommodation is suitable for their individual needs.

The property is an apartment located within a building accessed directly from the main high street. There are communal areas within the building, with a lift providing access to the floor where the apartment is located.

Please note that the property has not been specifically adapted for wheelchair users, and there are some features within the apartment that guests with limited mobility may wish to consider before booking.

Arrival and Access to the Apartment

• The property is accessed from the main high street.
• Guests enter the building through the communal entrance.
• The communal areas have carpeted flooring.
• A lift is available to access the floor on which the apartment is located.
• There are no internal stairs required to access the apartment floor when using the lift.
• Guests with specific mobility requirements may wish to contact us before booking if they require further information about the entrance, communal areas or lift.

Flooring

• The apartment has a mixture of carpeted and laminate flooring throughout.
• There are changes between carpeted and laminate areas within the apartment.
• There is a small lip/threshold between the internal carpeted flooring and the balcony.
• Guests should take care when stepping over this threshold, particularly when using mobility aids.

Living Area

• The living area has a low sofa with seating for up to four people.
• Guests who have difficulty lowering themselves onto or getting up from lower furniture may wish to take this into consideration.

Kitchen

• The kitchen has standard-height worktops.
• There are no height-adjustable kitchen worktops or specifically adapted kitchen facilities.

Bathroom and Shower

• There is a step into the shower.
• The shower enclosure has a corner opening measuring approximately 36cm wide.
• The shower area is relatively compact and may not be suitable for guests who require a larger access space or need to use a shower chair or mobility equipment.
• There are no specifically adapted grab rails or other accessible shower facilities.

Bedrooms

• There are four steps leading to the bunk bed.
• Guests should be aware that the bunk area is therefore accessed by steps and may not be suitable for guests who have difficulty using stairs or steps.
• There are five drawers available for clothing and personal belongings.
• There are four hooks for hanging items.

• A wardrobe is provided with hangers and a shelf.
• There are two bedside tables.

Balcony

• The balcony is accessed from the apartment.
• There is a small lip/threshold between the carpeted internal flooring and the balcony.
• Guests should take care when crossing this threshold.
